Chu  Longjia is a lecturerin the School of Highway, Chang’an University. She  obtained her bachelor degree from the University of Science and  Technology, Beijing. She continued her higher education in Singapore and  completed her Master’s and PhD degree at the National University of  Singapore. Her major research area is functional design and performance  evaluation of highway and airport pavements. During her research study,  she received full scholarship from the National University of Singapore,  and published 8 SCI papers. She has also presented her research  findings at a number of international conferences. She participated in  several research projects initiated by Land Transport Authority of  Singapore and Singapore Changi International Airport.
