School of Construction Machinery successfully held the "International Student Internship and Employment Exchange Forum"

On the morning of March 22rd, the School of Construction Machinery-Kotai Heavy Industry International Student Internship and Employment Forum was successfully held in Meeting Room 211# of the school. Gao Yanbei, the Party Secretary of the school, and Yao Luting, the General Manager of Qingdao Kotai Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd.(KOTAI), attended the meeting.

 

Gao Yanbei expressed his gratitude to alumnus Yao Luting and KOTAI for their strong support of the school's work. He stated that the enhancement of international education is crucial for promoting educational innovation and reform, as well as international cooperation and exchange. The cultivation of international students is an important indicator of the school's international development. The goal of this forum is to provide a platform for international students to communicate face-to-face with enterprise representatives, helping them to gain a deeper understanding of China's job market, explore suitable internship opportunities, and plan for their future careers.

Yao Luting reviewed his own learning and growth experiences at Chang'an University. He briefly introduced the development history, industrial layout, and future plans of KOTAI, as well as the basic situation regarding overseas talent recruitment and the expansion of international business. He also shared his personal journey and experiences in learning, interning, seeking employment, and entrepreneurship. He stated that the introduction and recruitment of international students are important components of the company's internationalization strategy, and that KOTAI is always open to welcoming outstanding international students for internships and employment opportunities.

International students shared their current research topics and progress, and the participants exchanged views on the internship application process, recruitment interview skills, workplace cultural adaptation, etc. Yao representatives offered valuable suggestions on how international students can enhance their competitiveness.

Fan Hailong, the school's foreign affairs secretary, and international students from the classes of 2020 and 2021 attended the forum.
