Personal profile: Jinping Li, Ph.D., Lecturer. He received fully funded from the National Scholarship Council, and as a visiting scholar at the Centre for Infrastructure Engineering and Safety, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, from December 25, 2019 to December 25, 2020. He mainly engaged in structural reliability analysis and reliability-based design optimization for construction machinery structures. This visiting report will focus on the brief introduction of UNSW and the research work on the reliability-based design optimization for the lattice boom of crawler crane.
